February was another good month. I got to surf again, celebrated birthdays with my family, and had a little snow.
This month, it was my mom’s birthday. We celebrated by going out to dinner and hanging out all day as a family. It was also my cousin’s birthday; he turned 15. We met at a Mexican restaurant and had an amazing dinner.
Ice/snow mageddan decided to show up here in Tennessee. My school got out for 10 days (including weekends). We got to play in the snow and sled. We were even pulled around the neighborhood behind our golf cart! Even though we were snowed/iced in for a few days, it was a good break from school and I am glad I got to hang out with my sisters.
There is a place in Franklin that you can go rock climbing called The Crag. One Friday night, my sister and out friends went climbing for a couple of hours. It was awesome and really fun.
At the end of the month, there was a Prime event in New Smyrna Beach. I went down a couple of days before to be able to surf. The waves were a little overhead, but blown out. It was good to be able to surf again. I got knocked out of the first round but the experience was amazing and I cannot wait to compete again in the Outer Banks in May.
Overall, February was a good month full of learning experiences, celebrations, and snow, lots and lots of snow. I cannot wait for March and all of the traveling that will come!
